A Message from GO! Women's Small Group Bible Study:
Welcome back ladies to Week 3!
CREATIVITY is our key word!
As I reflect on last week and began thinking about this week, I am reminded about our discussion in Session 2, "creativity + discipline= craftsmanship (activity).
In order for us to realize our full potential, cooperation, trust and faith in God are key elements. As I type this email, I have to chuckle because I can recall my husband and I giving my oldest a similar equation as it related to school work:
Talent + Hard Work = Success
Funny how God has a way of bringing things back to our remembrance. :) No one ever can say that He doesn't have perfect timing!
We can have all the talent in the world, but without hard work, we can never realize our true potential. God has offered us a similar math equation in Exodus 35.
So, what if we cooperated? What if we allowed God's Spirit to fill us? What would God reveal to us about our creativity, our contribution? God has a great plan for all of us. In fact, He has already thought these thoughts even before we were ever capable of thinking them for ourselves. Session 2 closes with asking God to give us back our heart, our contribution. I pray that God will stir up His Spirit in us and that we open our minds, hands and hearts to Him. I pray that we walk boldly towards our creativity, seeking God's thoughts and plans for our future.
Be strong and remember these words, "My Spirit remains in your midst. Fear not." Haggai 2:5
