Good Morning Princesses!
1. Our Email Inbox & Text Message ~ A Little Perspective
According to a May 9, 2019 article in Livewire about online email communication, the following was revealed:
Over half of the world population uses email in 2019.The number of worldwide email users is expected to grow to over 4.3 billion by the end of 2023.The total number of business and consumer emails sent and received per day will exceed 293 billion in 2019 and is forecasted to grow to over 347 billion by year-end 2023.
Moreover, SlickText reveals that approximately 5 billion people send and receive text messages and 292 million people in North America text (approximately 80% of our population).
Moreover, the following two statements give us a sneak peek at our world and communication.
Globally, the amount of people who send and receive text messages is predicted to rise to 5.9 billion by 2025.
Smartphone usage is expected to increase to 77% of the global population by 2025.
As you ponder the number of unanswered emails and text messages, consider the following statement:
"If we fail to see that the Bible is about Jesus and a relationship with him, reading it can easily become a dry, academic and arid activity."
("The Bible In One Year", Nicky and Pippa Gumbel)
Upon reflecting on the statement, one thought came to mind...
Each time we read our Bibles we are encountering Christ.
The words, verses, scriptures, chapters, and books of the Bible are all God-breathed messages directly from our heavenly Father.
Wow! Only our heavenly Father could create a way for us to grow closer to Him in such an intimate way. After all, it is about the relationship. In fact, during our time of reading it is our individual time to grow in our relationship with Him.
If we stop for a moment to consider that the Bible is our Father's email and direct message to us, then our communication channel is not so far off in the distance. In fact, our Bible encounter communication pathway is automatic, clear, timeless and is never subject to interruption due to updates, cell tower distance, or service plans.
So, dear Princesses, knowing that God has sent us direct messages and emails through His word in the Bible, to speak to our hearts and minds, how are your inbox and text messages looking?
Oh, princesses of faith...remember
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
