Happy New Year! 2019

January 7, 2019

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

(check out our new logo!)

Let's GO!...

Ephesians 6:18 tells us that praying at all times in the Spirit, will infuse the armor and through the Holy Spirit we will be given the strength we need to be the ambassadors (warrior princesses) to fulfill our ministry He has called us to for this time; this season.

Good Morning Princesses!

Just a brief announcement:

In-Person Class Session on Tuesday, January 8th @6:00 pm- Stark Library, Innovation Center

1. Into The Thick Of It...

According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, “in the thick of” means “in the most active or intense part of (something)”.  When my children were in preschool they enjoyed watching a children’s cartoon on Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. entitled, The Backyardigans. The series debuted in 2004 and was designed to be an assortment of music and imaginative play. The characters were a group of neighboring animal playmates, Uniqua, Pablo, Tyrone, Austin, and Tasha.  (They were too cute!)

The episodes and songs were definitely catchy and as you venture into Chapter 7, one phase of the musical Backyardigan friends came to mind, Into the Thick of It. For your entertainment and to tap into your inner child, this week’s GO! Playlist includes the Backyardigans song, “Into the Thick of It”.

2. Chapter 7- The Thick of It

As we ease into the New Year, we’ll start off by just reading or listening to Chapter 7. If you get a chance this week, take a look back at Chapters 1-6.  The slow build and reveal of Chapter 7 and the remaining chapters will serve as an interconnection of the entire Book of Esther. From the running themes of parties, ironies, moments, etc. you will be amazed at the hidden nuggets that all roads lead to Chapter 7.

So, get comfortable and enjoy Chapter 7 (including Chapter 1-6) because you will see our heroes, villains, and bystanders are in the thick of it.

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy.  Without prayer…  your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."

Closing Thoughts-

Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:

  • do things you couldn't;

  • feel things you didn't; and

  • know things you wouldn't.

GO! PLAYLIST...For your praise and worship:

GO! 1/7/19- New feature, contains a playlist of songs for your praise and worship time.
