Let's GO!...

Ephesians 6:18 tells us that praying at all times in the Spirit, will infuse the armor and through the Holy Spirit we will be given the strength we need to be the ambassadors (the warrior princesses) to fulfill our ministry He has called us to for this time; this season

1. I Don't Know How, BUT I Know WHO...

The previous picture and scripture remind me of the beauty of the rainbow. The promise of hope and future that God gives us each day.

Remember the story of Noah? Genesis 9:12-17 marks a monumental promise:

12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”

What about Abram (Abraham) in Genesis 12:1-3?

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

Finally, God's tells us and promises the following:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

This was the first time the Lord would speak this commandment to the young Israelite nation. It would be a phrase that would be repeated throughout history, from David's words to Solomon (1 Chronicles 28:20) to Jesus and the disciples and to all of us as Christians today. (John 14:16-17; 26)

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Jesus told us that in this life, this world, we would have trouble. (John 16:33)

So dear Princesses, whether you are headed into a storm, in the middle of a storm or coming out of a storm of life, know that as a child, a princess of the Great Almighty, that you are never alone, that you will get through that storm, the next storm, the next storm and the next.

Even when you don't know how you know WHO is with you. You know WHO is in the boat with you. You know WHO will never forsake you. You know WHO loves you most and is working all things for your good. (Romans 8:28 )

Be thankful and hold fast to God's promises.

(For this week, take a look at the Bible Project special on "Covenants").

Next week, more about you know WHO!

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."

Closing Thoughts-

Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:

· do things you couldn't;

· feel things you didn't; and

· know things you wouldn't.
