· Online, THIS WEEK, Tuesday, January 16, 2018 (a link has been sent)

· Face -to Face-- Tuesday, January 23 @ 6:00 pm (Innovation Center, Main Library)

Let's GO!...

Ephesians 6:18 tells us that praying at all times in the Spirit, will infuse the armor and through the Holy Spirit we will be given the strength we need to be the ambassadors (the warrior princesses) to fulfill our ministry He has called us to for this time; this season

1. The Growth Potential (Part 2)

Good morning Princesses! Did you get a chance to watch the video last week regarding the growth mindset? If not, see the link below to view the concept developed by psychologist Carol Dweck called the growth mindset. Okay, now that we have completed the quick review, let's move into today's conversation. In fact, it's only 7 letters and we've talked about it for the past couple of months. This word has actually hovered in many GO! reports and bible study conversations. It starts with an "e" and ends in an "e". Can you guess it? (This is where I start playing the "Jeopardy" music- ! 😊)

EMBRACE

According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary, the word "embrace" means:

...to clasp in the arms; to take up especially readily or gladly; to avail oneself of (welcome); to take in or include as a part, item, or element of a more inclusive whole; or to be equal or equivalent to

To participate in an embrace.

All throughout our conversation this past couple of months, we have discussed our journey, our faith walk, our quest. As we continue our Christian walk and spread the Good News about our Lord, know that we must embrace the adventure. Take a look at the definition above again. EMBRACE requires your participation. In other words princesses, you must be an active participant in the process; be present in each present from God. Each day is a present and our journey is truly an adventure.

Remember that our journey is still in progress. Don't judge the journey too quickly. Our growth mindset is a realizing that our journey, our quest, our walk is a process. We are not finished yet, God is not finished yet. God is always working on our behalf, in the big and small details; ALL for our good. He is intentional. Take a look at this excerpt by Steven Furtick, entitled the Waking Faith: Don't Judge the Journey Before It's Over.
