Good Morning Princesses!
This week we are approaching the last week of our session this season. As mentioned last week, this summer will be working on launching our GO! WEN Forum. So stay tuned for the details. In the meantime... (Remember to read Ruth 4)!
In-Person Class Session on Tuesday, May 14 @6:00 pm- Stark Library, 2nd Floor Meeting Room STUDY: Ruth: Loss, Love, and Legacy
1. Hesed- Love Without Limits
"Hesed" means loving-kindness. In celebration of Mother's Day let's not only remember a mother's love but God's love for us. Let's also remember "hesed", loving-kindness. Ruth modeled "hesed" by putting the well-being of others before herself in the following ways:
Leaving Moab and going with Naomi to a foreign country, Bethlehem.Gleaning in the fields despite the fact that the job was of lower social status for her family and the risks in order to provide food for her and Naomi.Listening and obeying Naomi in her plan for her to marry Boaz the family's kinsmen redeemer.
How can we demonstrate "hesed"? As a princess of the Almighty let's not forget that our Father shows us what "hesed" means each and every day. Because of Jesus, His birth, ministry, death, and resurrection we can have eternal life. Because of Jesus, as Christians, we are living proof of "hesed". A love that never let's go.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’
Numbers 6:24-26
Oh, princesses of faith...remember
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
