Heavenly Father strengthen us as we pour out so that You can pour in and lead us as we pour forth in Your name. Amen

Good Morning Princesses,
The Keeper of Our Hourglass
Let me start today with a confession. Some of you may already know this about me, but just in case you didn't here's one to jot down for the memory book. No judgment please! Ever since I was a little, I have watched daytime soaps and I still do! Yes, I still do! When they began showing repeats/flashbacks this past spring and summer, I was in total glory! Yes, the classics of The Y&R (Young and Restless); The Bold and the Beautiful.
Oh my, I felt like Ralphie from A Christmas Story when he got his Red Ryder BB Gun. One of the daytime dramas that was on my watchlist as a teenager was Days of our Lives.
At one point in my life, I had 5 daytime dramas on my playlist, but have scaled back over the years! Remember no judgment! Oh, I digress! Let me get back on track!
Do you remember the opening music for Days of Our Lives? The daytime drama first aired in November 1965 and is still in production today. If not, take a few seconds to listen to the theme music below:
Building from the conversation last week (Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 (ESV), we know that
GOD IS TIME
WE ARE A BEAUTIFUL WORK IN PROGRESS
HAVE HOPE, HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER
For this week, let's take some time to think about the concept of time as grains of sands in an hourglass that is kept by our Heavenly Father. As we think about our "so far's" and "there to's" they are the grains of sands in our hourglass. If you were to catalog each "grain of sand" or let's call them "chapters" how would you title your grains of sand (each chapter)? How would God title your "grains of sand" (chapters)?
For Ezekiel, we see the "grains of sand" (chapters) cataloged at the age of 30, the time when he would have been eligible for priesthood. Beginning with visions from God, the Bible tells us that Ezekiel received his inaugural vision, is called to be a prophet, received the assignment of "watchman" all within the first three chapters in the Book of Ezekiel. Whew! Ezekiel 1-3 (NIV).
As we move through the Book of Ezekiel, we will see that in each verse, encased in each chapter and contained in each grain of sand that God is is in control.
So, let's come back to the original questions from the previous paragraph...
If you were to catalog each " grain of sand" or "chapter" how would you you title your grains of sand (chapters)?
How would God title your grains of sand (chapters)?
Processing and Praying
Take some time this week to journal your grains of sand (chapters). Pray over them and ask God how He would title them. Send your A'Ha thoughts to godsopportunity.canton@gmail.com. If there was a particular verse that resonated with you in your journaling and praying time, send the verse. Remember, like Ezekiel, God is the keeper of our hourglass and we have been created for a purpose. As Christians, we are entrusted with the sands, and with God age is never a factor.
Thank you Lord...
Amen. Yes, Lord.

Oh, princesses of faith...remember
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
Closing Thoughts
Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:
do things you couldn't;
feel things you didn't; and
know things you wouldn't.
