A Message from GO! Women's Small Group Bible Study:
Good Morning and welcome back ladies to Week 4!
Session 3 we engaged in a conversation about our own "Samson’s". The story of Samson and Delilah has a few sub plots and themes, but one consistent theme that was carried throughout the story was that of power and trust. God has entrusted us with talent, skill and the anointing of the Holy Spirit; what will you do with it? The power He gives to us through the Holy Spirit is a trust. How do you show your reverence for the Holy Spirit's anointing, courage and humility?
Something else that resonated with me and perhaps with you...
"We mistake God's patience for His incompetence, His kindness for His weakness, and His faithfulness for His lack of follow through."
Lord help us daily to have humility, to refrain from being puffed up with our own pride and to always recognize your power and strength. Oh Lord, our God, we worship you. Thank you for your never-ending grace and mercy.
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.Philippians 1:6 (NLT)--- Amen
