Heavenly Father strengthen us as we pour out so that You can pour in and lead us as we pour forth in Your name. Amen
October 5, 2020
Good Morning Princesses,
1. Welcome Fall; It's October!
Guess what? I know we have been on the "time" subject for the last several weeks, but this week the time conversation shifts ever so slightly to the term "season", which in the context of this week's conversation is a reference to time (an appointed time). So, basically, we are still talking about "time", just a new term for this week! Lol! (I know you're too clever to be tricked!).
To get us started, please read the following excerpt "A Time For Everything" found in Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 (ESV):
3 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; 3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
The God-Given Task
9 What gain has the worker from his toil? 10 I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 12 I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; 13 also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man.
14 I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him. 15 That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.
As you read the verses, take another look specifically at the verses that were marked in red above, but are now reflected below. Pay particular attention to the words in bold.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven (v1)
He has made everything beautiful in its time. (v 11)
I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. (v14)
Notice anything?
GOD IS TIME (Verses 1)- we see that God and time are one. In other words, He is Time. HE IS the author of TIME. (See, GO! "The AUTHOR of TIME", September 20, 2020); Daniel 2:21 (NLT); Acts 1:7 (ESV))
WE ARE A BEAUTIFUL WORK IN PROGRESS (Verse 11)- building on verse one, we are reminded that because God is time, no matter what we may be going through it will be made beautiful. You see we are God's masterpiece. We are a work in progress. He is always working everything together for His good and ours. (Romans 8:28) In other words, while we are on working remotely, on assignment for the Lord, He will see to it that His work (in our lives) will serve as a light and testimony to others to share the good news and bring others to know the wonderful loving mercies of our savior, Jesus Christ. (Acts 14:17(NIV); John 3:30 (ESV))
HAVE HOPE, HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER (Verse 14)- strengthens our understanding, encourages us, and gives us hope. In other words, our God reigns. No matter what comes our way as we are traveling through this life we can stand firm in knowing that our Heavenly Father makes no mistakes. The twists, turns, high, and lows are all part of our story that has been created, carried, and cradled in love. His love endures forever and nothing can separate us from God's love. Stand firm and hold tight to God's promises. (Psalm136:1(NIV); Romans 8:38-39 (NIV))

Oh, princesses of faith...remember
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
Closing Thoughts
Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:
do things you couldn't;
feel things you didn't; and
know things you wouldn't.
