SpringTIME (Ready, Set, Aim ~ Focus)

Heavenly Father strengthen us as we pour out so that You can pour in and lead us as we pour forth in Your name. Amen

Good Morning Princesses,

Ready -

Before we jump into this week's GO! Report, let's do a quick recap on two learning objectives from last week ("Time for Teaching", March 15, 2021). Both objectives will be a "ready and set" point for our conversation this week.

Take a look:

Learning Objective #2-

God has modeled for us what a good leader looks like through the lens of a "good shepherd".

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." (John 10:11)

Learning Objective #3 (The Assignment ~ Our CALL TO ACTION)

We are called to be good shepherds of the "church of God".

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)

Set - AIM (Focus ~ fo·cus|\ ˈfō-kəs)

If you haven't heard, the first day of Spring 2021 was March 20th. Yay!!

While spring represents a change in season (weather-wise), it also presents an opportunity for us to reflect on Jesus, His life, death, and oh yes, His resurrection.

At some point during your reflection time, come back and revisit this particular GO! Report. Why you may ask? Well, tied to our reflections are many times also our next steps and what we tend to focus on.

Remember learning objectives #2 and #3

As you reflect and pray, keep in mind learning objectives #2 and #3 above and ask God to show you "your next steps". Trust that He will guide you and assign to you the task that "only you" can accomplish.

Fix your focus on Him and follow the example of our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

Jesus knew His assignment all too well. In fact, He tells us so in John 6:38:

"For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me."

Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:

do things you couldn't;
feel things you didn't; and
know things you wouldn't.
