Jesus knew and fulfilled His assignment while He walked this earth, but dear Princesses, our assignment is still at play! Just as Jesus told the disciples in what has been called "The Great Commission", we carry the same responsibility. Take a look...
Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
For this week, please re-visit Matthew 28:18-20 and underline some key phrases as to our assignment (hint alert 😇=> Go, discipleship, baptizing and teaching), write these and others in your journal, meditate and pray on these words this week. Also, take a look at the Godcast this week... 2 great videos from the Bible Project. Enjoy!
Oh, princesses of faith...remember
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
Closing Thoughts-
Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:
· do things you couldn't;
· feel things you didn't; and
· know things you wouldn't.
