1. Love
Just a little trivia as we close out 2019. How many times does the word "love" appear in the Bible? (Jeopardy music)
According to a 2017 review in Quora, the number of times "love" appears varies depending on the translation but falls anywhere between "514 to 810 times". Amazing...huh!
The Bible tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8) and His son Jesus was born to save us. That stated, our celebration this season and year-round are because of God's love. Thank you Lord for your love and for your greatest gift, your Son, Emmanuel.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
Advent Week 4 ~ Love
In this season of Advent that is filled with hope and anticipation of Christ's birth, let us be mindful that we are part of the greatest story ever told. As followers of Christ, that story continues with us.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Oh, princesses of faith...remember
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
