Princesses,
Last week we started our 2020 Summer Series and just one word.
Wow!
God's breath of life. Physically and spiritually. No matter where you enter the conversation, God's breath is always relevant. There is power in the Spirit. Aiden Wilson (A.W.) Tozer once stated:
What does this statement mean to you?
For this week, take a look at the following scriptures regarding the power of the Holy Spirit.
You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. Acts 10:37-38
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.1 Thessalonians 1:4-5
Dear princesses, as you think about Tozer's quote and the scriptures. What does living look like knowing that as Christians, you are a chosen people and that God's Holy Spirit power rests in you? Princesses, believe God's promise. He is faithful and His Holy Spirit power lives in you. As we close, quiet your thoughts, actions, and recite the prayer below.
Holy Spirit, fill us. Holy Spirit, break our walls down so that we are powerful witnesses for you alone. We thank you, Lord, for your promises, faithfulness, and power. Amen

do things you couldn't;
feel things you didn't; and
know things you wouldn't.
