Good Morning Princesses!
Welcome to our new landing site on GO! Women's Empowerment Network!
1. In The Beginning... LOVE
Genesis is the first book in the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Bible). As derived from the Greek word "génesis" meaning "origin or creation". To set the foundation for our upcoming study, we need to start with the beginning. For the next two weeks, we will focus on the first eleven chapters in Genesis. Whether you choose to read, listen or watch the video for Genesis Chapters 1-11, there are a few themes that bubble to the top: Love, Beauty, Creation, Fall, Sin, Love, Trust, Rebellion, Redemption, Grace and Love. Did you catch the running theme? Here's a hint: 4 letters and sounds like "dove"! Since the beginning of God's creation and His breath of life in us, there was Love.
Genesis will be the backdrop of our beautiful love story; one that shows humanity's destructive cycle of falling into and and out of love. But, our God is consistent and faithful. His redeems us and promises a hope, a future and everlasting love. Ready to jump into this seamless and fabulous love story that still continues today? Let's GO!
Oh, princesses of faith...remember
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
Closing Thoughts-
Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:
do things you couldn't;
feel things you didn't; and
know things you wouldn't.
